Golang Job: File programming

Introduction
As an Engineer for Future File Storage team, you'll be responsible to provide L2/L3 support for the File Storage operations - Software analysis, coding, testing, verification, etc. required for Feature development and/or enhancements. This is a great opportunity for you to hone your skills in Distributed File System.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting, developing and supporting software components of Distributed File System
• Actively provide support for resolution of L2/L3 issues with detailed analysis, code fixes, rigorous tests and timely delivery
• Ensuring end-to-end quality delivery to develop new features and enhance existing features for Future File
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the stakeholders
• Exposure on kernel internals of multiple platforms - Linux, AIX

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Industry experience of 5-10 years, preferably with 2+ years’ experience in File Systems
• Storage-domain experience with good understanding of File systems, preferably Distributed File system
• Rich experience in Software Development using programming languages like C and/or Scripting languages
• Linux and/or AIX kernel knowledge, with familiarity in Filesystem layer, Data structures and Algorithms
• Hands-on experience with Linux Debugging Tools like GDB, DBX, Static/Dynamic tracers and/or others
• Proficient in Coding and possessing strong Problem-solving ability
• Proven Communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven background Storage domain and/or File Systems
• OpenShift / Kubernetes / Golang knowledge
• Prior experience of working with Agile methodology
• Can-do attitude with passion for self-learning
• BE in Computer Science and Electronics and preferably MS in Computer Science with proven track record of technical leadership in Software development
